Enrollment in the Happy 24 program is free with a new mobile device purchased at Best Buy. This program is touted as ‘the happiest phone-owning months of your phone-owning life.’ I designed this page with the brand in mind, keeping things simple and friendly. The layout is modular and could easily be translated for viewing on smaller devices with a few simple media queries.

What do you do after you re-model your office space? Invite your friends over and show it off, of course. The team at Sandau Creative and I decided to create an interactive invite for guests to RSVP from anywhere, especially on the go. This little mobile experiment delivered a stylized preview of the re-mode and tracked RSVPs using Google Analytics.

Working with their team and brand designer, I designed and developed the company website for FRWD Co. Building the site on the Squarespace CMS, I created custom templates by modifying the CSS and adding custom jQuery scripts. I met the requirements of FRWD Co. by delivering a brand focused website that also provided an easy way for their staff to continue to maintain and update the content.

My good friend and fellow designer, Jordan A. Smith and I created this poster for the 2010 Toys in the Attic poster show. Recalling an obscure pop-culture reference got us thinking a little too hard about the lack of diversity in the See ‘n Says from our early childhood, and how some onomatopoeia don’t exactly match the real thing. We each chose to illustrate 3 animals we felt were relatively unpopular and lacking an onomatopoeia to call their own. All proceeds of Toys in the Attic poster show went to Toys for Tots.

This poster for Artcrank 2011 is the second poster collaboration I’ve completed with Jordan A. Smith. Putting a twist on the Artcrank theme, “A Poster Show for Bike People”, we chose to feature the most important bike accessory: the helmet. Dividing up the work evenly, we each drew a variety of protective and fashionable head wear.

A dream project for me, I got to design a website for cyclists. The challenge was keeping a consistent organization for all the pages and sections of this content heavy website, I used a grid system to guide alignment of elements. The top menu anchors the pages across sections, and a sub menu appears on the left side on sections that include multiple pages.

Working at Sandau Creative, I designed and wrote HTML and CSS for this redesign of the Little & Co. website. I designed the homepage as a large carousel that transitioned between the introductions to site's categories. Clicking through a home page section, the user navigates to the second, content-focused, layer of the site. I used a 960px grid to guide the alignment of elements and keep the information organized from section to section and page to page.
